Workshops take place usually in Sedona, Arizona and at times in the countryside around Geneva, Switzerland in a beautiful and peaceful setting where the special energy is felt by all. You will receive individual attention as the workshops take place with 4 up to a maximum of 8 participants. Following the workshop, you will receive daily emails for 21 days to accompany the homework practice, which will help you integrate the teachings and energetic experiences from the weekend workshop. Also included in the workshop is a 90-minute Reiki session with Melina following the homework practice period.

This comprehensive 2-day course in English combines lecture, discussions, meditations, and group work for hands-on practice in a well-organized and relaxed environment. It runs in a friendly, relaxed, fun and supportive atmosphere, taking into account the dynamics of a small group. I look forward to seeing you in class and sharing a lot of valuable knowledge and experiences.
You will learn the 3 traditional Usui Reiki symbols – plus 1 additional, channeled symbol – as well as how to connect to their meaning through changing and raising your vibration and how to hold a healing frequency in your subtle energy body both for your benefit as well as all those you come into contact with. Thus, Reiki Level 2 is not just for practitioners. It is for anyone who wants to bring a higher, and more positive, vibration into their life.

A Reiki Level 1 Workshop focuses on self-healing and prepares you both during the course and in the subsequent 21-day practice to expand into higher energies and finer vibrations of Reiki Level 2. Reiki Level 2 is often defined by the focus on practicing Reiki on others, specifically distant healing. But, this Reiki Level 2 Workshop will provide you with really much more than that.

The 3 Pillars: Gassho, Reiji-ho, & Chiryo
These 3 Pillars are the foundation for the study of Reiki:
Gassho: to attune oneself to Reiki energies. It clears the mind, opens the heart and other chakras & strengthens one’s Reiki energy. A wonderful stillness will develop inside along with the awareness of increased inner space.
Reiji-ho: as the indication of the spirit. This process prepares one to give a Reiki treatment.
Chiryo: as the third pillar of Reiki, allowing you to rely on inner guidance rather than the hand positions.
Byosen Scanning
As developed by William Lee Rand, we will explore our extra sensory sense of kinesthetic touch in your hands as a way of finding those places in yourself or others that are most in need of healing.
Kenyoku
.Dry bathing is a technique for cleansing ones energy before or after a treatment or anytime one feels the need to release negative energy
Jacki-Kiri Joka-ho
Used to release and/or transform negative energy from objects. It can be done with crystals or other objects that you feel need cleansing.
Joshin Kokyu-ho
A wonderful breathing technique to strengthen your energy or for sensing the Reiki flow for beginners.

Melina’s Experience
Reiki Level 1 can really be an eye-opening experience for many people as they begin to experience their subtle energy within and surrounding them. The focus on self-healing is very important, so I never combine Reiki 1 & 2. It is important to integrate the learnings and start to dedicate time to your own self-healing for at least 21 days following Reiki 1. Reiki Level 2 is perhaps my favorite Reiki course because I get to experience the amazing belief-shifting happening in many students as they experience the power of their innate abilities to affect healing in others beyond time and space. To be able to help dissolve other people’s limiting beliefs is extremely gratifying!
