Sacred Sedona Healing Retreat

Three days in Sedona with a group of no more than eight. Breathwork, energy healing, sound therapy, and time out on the red rocks. Friday evening through Monday afternoon. $999.

What This Retreat Is

Three days of steady, structured healing work in a small group. You arrive Friday evening and leave Monday afternoon. In between, we work indoors at SpiritFlow Sedona and go out onto the land once a day.

The work is not talk therapy and it is not a spa weekend. You learn to read your own energy field, you breathe in ways that move what is stuck, and you receive hands-on healing. Then you take what surfaced out onto the red rocks and sit with it.

I cap the group at eight. Small enough that I know what is happening for each of you, large enough that the group itself does some of the work.

If you are carrying grief, a relationship that will not resolve, a pattern you keep repeating, or a physical symptom that has not responded to anything else, this is the retreat built for that.

What We Work With

Energy Consciousness Training

Energy Consciousness Training

Before anything else, you learn the map. What the chakras actually are, what an aura is, how emotion and thought register in the field. I will do pendulum chakra readings on each person, so this stops being theory by the end of the first day.

Cathedral rock at sunset

Breathwork

A conscious breathwork session every single day. Breath is the fastest way into the body and it does not need you to believe anything. This is where most of the releasing happens.

Time on the Land

Once a day we go out. One of Sedona's vortex sites, a labyrinth, a stretch of red rock. Not a hike for the sake of a hike. We take the work outside and let the land hold it.

sound bath in healing retreat in Sedona

Energy Healing and Sound

Brennan Healing Science as a group. Reiki out on the land. Himalayan singing bowls and crystal bowl sound baths. I am the only Brennan Healing Science practitioner in Sedona, which means this part of the retreat is not something you can get elsewhere in town.

small group for ceremony at healing retreat in Sedona

Ceremony and Integration

A cacao ceremony to open. A releasing ceremony on the second day. A forgiveness meditation in the labyrinth. And a closing session on the last day that is entirely about how you carry this home, because that is the part most retreats skip.

Journaling and Introspection

Built into every day, not bolted on. You leave with your own written record of what moved.

The Three Days

Here is the shape of it. The order shifts depending on who is in the group and what the weather is doing, and I will tell you if it does.

Friday Evening: Arriving

We start the evening you arrive, at SpiritFlow Sedona.

  • Check in
  • Opening ceremony
  • Meeting your spirit mentors and guides
  • Conscious breathwork and a guided meditation
  • Cacao ceremony
  • Logistics for the days ahead

If you land late, this evening is optional. Depending on the group I sometimes move the opening ceremony to Saturday morning and hold a different evening session instead.

Day One: Releasing

  • Morning detox juice
  • Energy consciousness training: chakras and aura
  • Breathwork healing session
  • Meditation
  • Grounding practice, to build a charged life force rather than a depleted one
  • Pendulum chakra and aura readings and assessments
  • Self-healing vortex journey on the land, at one of Sedona's vortex sites, and a practice on your own inner vortexes
  • Introspection and journaling

Day Two: Healing

  • Yoga and a crystal bowl sound bath
  • Morning detox juice
  • Breathwork healing session
  • Energy consciousness training on emotions and thoughts
  • Alchemy bar: essential oils for healing
  • Land journey with Reiki and Himalayan singing bowl sound healing
  • Releasing ceremony
  • Ice plunge, optional
  • Brennan Healing Science energy healing session as a group
  • Introspection and journaling

Day Three: Expanding

  • Qi-gong and bio-energetic chakra exercises
  • Morning detox juice
  • Breathwork healing session
  • Individuation and empowerment session, to turn insight into something that actually changes at home
  • Labyrinth journey with a forgiveness meditation
  • Healing limiting beliefs
  • Embracing a renewed life purpose and integrating your inner healer
  • Integration and closing session

We finish Monday afternoon, so book your flight out with room to breathe.

Who This Is For

  • You are grieving, and you want to move rather than wait it out
  • A relationship keeps hitting the same wall and you suspect the wall is yours
  • You know some of your limiting beliefs and knowing has not helped
  • Something in your body has not responded to anything medical
  • You have done a lot of reading and very little feeling
  • You want to understand your own energy, not just be told about it

Who this is not for

This is group work, so it asks you to be present with three to seven other people. If you want one-to-one only, a private retreat or a healing intensive will serve you better. And if you are in acute crisis, this is not a substitute for medical or psychiatric care. Tell me on the intake form and we will talk honestly about whether the timing is right.

What to Bring

Come prepared for a full day with the group and one outing onto the land each day.

  • A picnic lunch, if we decide to arrive prepared in the morning, snacks - if fruits and nuts aren't enough, and a refillable water bottle
  • Comfortable walking or hiking shoes
  • A hat, sunglasses, and sunblock
  • Layered clothing. Sedona mornings and afternoons are two different climates
  • A backpack
  • A journal, if you prefer your own to writing in the workbook

Where You Sleep

Accommodation is not included, so you book your own. Sedona has everything from campgrounds to resorts, and I am happy to point you toward something that fits.

I also have a guesthouse, the SpiritFlow Sedona Casita, a four-minute drive from the studio. It is 832 square feet and it is for sleeping and resting, not for sessions. Rates are $150, $175, or $200 a night depending on season. It is an Airbnb Guest Favorite.

One group per retreat can take it, so ask early. It sleeps up to four people with one California King and a Queen sofa bed but works for one as well.

Add-Ons from Local Practitioners

Sedona is full of people who are very good at one thing. If you want to add something to your days here, I will arrange it and you pay the practitioner directly.

    • A 60 or 90 minute massage
    • An astrology reading
    • An Akashic Records reading
    • A psychic reading

Booking, Payment and Cancellation

A 50 percent deposit holds your place. The balance is due 45 days before the retreat begins. Inside 45 days, the full amount is due when you book.

Zelle, checks, and Venmo are preferred. Card payments carry a 3 percent processing fee.

If you need to cancel

  • 46 days or more before the retreat: everything you have paid becomes credit toward any SpiritFlow retreat or session, valid 12 months. No fee.
  • 15 to 45 days before: the same, less a $100 administration fee.
  • 14 days or fewer, or if you do not arrive: the deposit is not recoverable.

I do not give cash refunds on retreats. A place held is a place another person could not take. The full terms are on my booking, payment and cancellation page.

How to reserve

  • Fill in the participant form
  • Once submitted, click on the link to pay the deposit.
  • Or I can send you a payment link for the deposit.

About Melina

Energy-Consciousness Teacher, Spirit Mentor and Nature Guide

I am an energy-consciousness teacher, spiritual mentor, energy healer, and guide. I work as a holistic coach, spiritual counselor, Brennan Healing Science practitioner, Reiki Master Teacher, and sound therapy practitioner, with hundreds of clients and students from more than 70 countries.

I trained at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and took my diploma in Bad Ischl, Austria in May 2015. I am the only Brennan Healing Science practitioner in Sedona. Before this work I took a master's at Johns Hopkins and an MBA at INSEAD, which is probably why people tell me I sound like an ancient mystic and a grounded professional at the same time.

I am dedicated to helping each person create more flow and balance, free themselves from limiting beliefs, and align with what they are actually here to do. A spiritual connection to the land, the plants, and the animals around me has been central to my own path, and sharing that is a large part of why I run these retreats on the red rocks rather than only indoors.

My work has been featured by CNN and on the Marriott Bonvoy podcast About the Journey.

Getting Here

SpiritFlow Sedona is at 7000 AZ-179, Suite E200, in The Collective Sedona.

Phoenix Sky Harbor is about an hour and 45 minutes away and has the most flights. Flagstaff Pulliam is about an hour and is often the easier arrival if the schedule works.

Most people rent a car, and I would recommend it, because you will want to move around Sedona on your own time.

If you would rather not drive, the Groome shuttle runs from Sky Harbor and costs roughly $160 roundtrip.

Questions

Do I need any experience with this kind of work?

No. Some people arrive having read everything and others arrive knowing nothing at all, and both do well. The energy consciousness training on the first morning is built so that everyone starts from the same place.

How many people will be there?

Eight at most. Often fewer.

What if the weather turns?

Sedona weather makes its own decisions. If I cannot take the group out safely, we do the same work indoors. I will tell you the evening before rather than leaving you guessing.

Is the ice plunge compulsory?

No. Nothing on the optional list is. You will not be talked into anything on this retreat.

Can I come with my partner?

Yes, and you both book as participants. If you want the work to be about the two of you specifically, a couples retreat is the better fit.

What happens after the retreat?

You leave with your workbook, the practices, and a way of understanding your own energy field that keeps working.

I organize a group integration Zoom call. You may schedule a private one-on-one integration call as well.

If you want to keep going, I offer sessions on Zoom wherever you live.
